  • The episode title is parodied after the 2012 live-action film: "The Dark Knight Rises".
    • The Ulti-Bat is heavily based on the Bat-Bot, which debuted in Batman, Vol. 1, Issue #104.
    • The vehicles controlling their own robot to fight each other concept is pretty like "Transformers" - a franchise about robots that able to transform into vehicles.
  • This episode takes place after "A T-Rexcellent Adventure".
  • When the Ulti-Bat uses multiple gadgets, Prank asks: "Where did they get all those wonderful toys?", a reference to the Joker's line in the 1989 Tim Burton film.
