• Toyman breaks the fourth wall when he tells the viewers "don't try this at home kids, unless you are me!".
• This episode marked Toyman's debut in this series. His voice actor, James Arnold Taylor, is known for portraying various DC characters, including Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Barry Allen/The Flash in the third season of Young Justice, and in the LEGO DC films.
• Toyman is the first non-Gotham villain to appear in the series.
